History of MGT:
We began this league in 2001 and we have grown into a Tour of over 100 golf enthusiasts from all facets of life that travel the state of Michigan, playing course after course on weekends in competitive, 18-hole handicapped events.
What drives the Michigan Golf Tour?
It is our goal as a developmental league to offer a format that encourages the golfer to improve their game by rewarding your play with trophies, qualifying for the league championship and team competition with surrounding leagues. We strive to have rules and competition that is fun, fair and challenging for all levels of golfers.
Michigan Golf Tour Founders:
The Founders of the Michigan Golf Tour (MGT) are Charles "Chuck" Gregory and Antonio Stokes. Chuck is the Real Estate Broker of Charles Gregory& Associates Realty. As an avid golf “nut”, he is responsible for all communications with the league and course selection and facilitations. It is an understatement to say that Chuck is the Friendliest Golfer in the State.
Antonio Stokes, CEO of Stokes Alliances Corp. (A Business Consulting Firm), has been golfing since 1996 and is responsible for the league administrations, handicaps, and all other business related matters
